Call to Order#

Commissioner Walker called the meeting to order at 6:59 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None.

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study. They are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by a citizen request.

Meeting Minutes of the June 16, 2026 regular meeting – Commissioner Abbott moved to accept the minutes as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Walker. Unanimously approved.

Accounting Summary Report – As of June 2026:

• General Fund #88715: $164,820.67
• General Fund Investment Account: $402,379.78
• Total: $567,200.45
• Less loan payoff of $146,751.64 from General Fund #88715 if processed this month.

Payables:

• Voucher #2185 – Quigg Brothers, Inc.: $66,655.68
• Voucher #2186 – U.S. Enduris Washington: $9,543.00
• Voucher #2187 – Leah Katzer (Golf Tournament): $200.00
• Voucher #2188 – Indianola Beach Improvement Club (Security)

New Business Items#

Artwork at Head of Dock – Artwork is to be placed by July 24, 2026, for Indianola Days 2026. The artwork is being paid for by the Indianola Garden Club. The Garden Club will update the plants once the artwork is installed.

Float Storage – A thank-you card/letter will be sent to the Smalls family for float storage.

Next Meeting – August 18, 2026, if needed for business; otherwise, the next meeting will be September 15, 2026.

Commissioner Abbott moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 PM. Seconded by Commissioner Walker. Passed unanimously.
