Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study. They are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by a Citizen Request.

• Meeting Minutes of the March 18, 2025 regular meeting – Commissioner Walker moved to accept minutes as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Schmid. Unanimously approved.
• Accounting Summary Report – Commissioner Henderson submitted as of May 20, 2025. Net General Fund balance for May 2025: $102,881.21.
• Payables – Voucher 2163 – PSE $100.00. Motion by Commissioner Walker. Seconded by Commissioner Schmid. Approved.

• Tim Celeski Presentation
  1. Artwork for Replacement Dock Boards – Three categories of words: Vibe, Action, Location, and Community. To be placed on both sides of replacement boards. First board will feature GPS coordinates.
  2. Weather Station for Port of Indianola – $300 for box. Discussed; will follow up further.
• Smyth Lumber – Replacement deck boards, 20–12 ft boards, $687.96 with tax. Motion by Commissioner Henderson. Seconded by Commissioner Schmid. Approved.
• Port Auditor Position – Continue to work on filling position.
• Piling Replacement Process – Contract signed for permits (June–October 1st). One-year time lag, five-year renewal.
• Piling Repair – Completed, awaiting invoice for payment. Motion by Commissioner Walker. Seconded by Commissioner Schmid. Approved.
• Port of Indianola Website – Reported as up and running.
