Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None.

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study. They are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by a citizen request.

• Meeting Minutes of the July 18, 2023 regular meeting – Commissioner Cookson moved to accept the minutes as submitted, seconded by Commissioner Henderson. Unanimously approved.
• Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry as of September 19, 2023 for August 2023:
  • Net General Fund Balance: $122,546.04
• Payables:
  • Voucher #2148 – Enduris of Washington, Insurance, Paid Forward: $9,916.00
  • Total: $9,916.00

• Bench Design: Spencer West, Ty Purser – Concerns regarding vandalism when installed.
• Sign Committee Report: Per Commissioner Gary Walker, no update.
• Power Project Update – Matthew’s Electrical: Commissioner Henderson spoke with Greg; PSE power expected completion within 2 weeks.
• Wheelchair Parking Only: Currently being worked on.
• 2024 Preliminary Budget: Discussion held on operating funds, expenditures, and budget for calendar year 2024.
• Winter Storage of Floats: Bay Marine confirmed; floats to be moved soon.
• Next Meeting: Tuesday, October 17, 2023
