Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 6:59 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None.

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study. They are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by a citizen request.

• Meeting Minutes of the February 23, 2023 regular meeting – Commissioner Walker moved to accept the minutes as submitted, seconded by Commissioner Cookson. Unanimously approved.
• Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry as of March 21, 2023:
  • Net General Fund Balance: $107,989.10
• Payables: None.

Old Business Items#

New Business Items#

• Bench Report: Spencer West and attendees discussed the bench design and placement, including a mockup of the support structure. Ty Purser continues to work on the bench for a Spring 2023 installation.
• Sign Committee: No report. Commissioner Walker to contact member regarding progress.
• Port Email: Commissioner Henderson to work with Cory Gregerson to utilize MS Outlook for Port email.
• Power Upgrade: New meter and panel ongoing. Commissioners Walker, Henderson, and Bob Kinnaird involved. Commissioner Walker suggested contacting Matthews Electric to coordinate necessary permits and approvals.
• Work Party: Commissioner Walker plans a work party on April 8, 2023, to replace necessary dock decking.
• Public Disclosure Commission: Commissioner Henderson reminded Commissioners to complete required State of Washington PDC paperwork prior to April 17, 2023.
• GO Bond Payment: Commissioner Henderson made a motion to approve the semi-annual GO Bond Debt payment due on May 1, 2023. Commissioner Cookson seconded the motion. Unanimously approved.
• Next Meeting: Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM.

Commissioner Henderson moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 PM. Seconded by Commissioner Walker. Passed unanimously.
