Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 6:58 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by Citizen Request.

• Meeting Minutes of the December 21, 2021 regular meeting – Commissioner Walker moved to accept the minutes as submitted, second by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
• Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry. Commissioner Henderson provided statement for January 2021. As of January 18, 2021, Net General Fund balance, not including project fund, is $117,638.61. RCO Project fund balance is $10,752.94. Project Fund Expense Balance is ($39,874.80). As agreed in earlier meetings, the Project Fund is now being used to track the RCO Grant Match.

New Business Items#

• Indianola Good Neighbors and the Suquamish Tribe attended the meeting to further discuss signage at the head of the Indianola Dock following the planned upgrade project. Several ideas and concepts were discussed. It was determined that following completion of the Project all parties would have a better idea of what signage can be added and where.
• Dock Entrance Upgrade: Trowbridge Construction bid has been accepted by both parties. Terry Reckord discussed the required pre-construction meeting to be scheduled as well as required testing throughout the project and the “general conditions” of the contract. Trowbridge will also need to advise their start date.
