1. Call to Order#

• Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

2. Commissioner Comments#

• Time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items.
• None

3. Consent Agenda#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda were distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered routine, and enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. Items may be removed for separate discussion at the request of a Commissioner or citizen.

• Meeting Minutes: November 15, 2022 regular meeting

  • Motion to accept as submitted by Commissioner Walker, second by Commissioner Cookson.
  • Passed unanimously.

• Accounting Summary Report: Submitted by Susan Henry as of December 20, 2022.

  • Net General Fund Balance: $105,665.34

• Payables:

  • Voucher #2139 – $1,393.20 payable to the State Auditor’s Office for audit services
  • Voucher #2140 – $203.70 payable to Kingbridge Construction
  • Motion to accept vouchers as submitted by Commissioner Henderson, second by Commissioner Cookson.
  • Passed unanimously.

5. New Business#

• Port History Sign: Discussion of updating Port history sign. Awaiting input from Sign Committee regarding collaboration with Suquamish Tribe. Commissioner Walker to contact committee members. Port must add RCO acknowledgement to existing sign.
• Bench Project: Commissioner Cookson reported that a preliminary design will be presented in January.
• Email & Resolutions: Commissioner Henderson to work with Cory Gregerson to upgrade Port email using MS Outlook and add all Port of Indianola Resolutions to the Port website.
• Power Upgrade: New meter and panel needed to complete head of dock project.
• Next Meeting: January 17, 2023 at 7:00 PM.
