Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None.

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine, and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by citizen request.

• Meeting Minutes of the October 26, 2021 regular meeting – Commissioner Walker moved to accept the minutes as submitted, second by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
• Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry:
  • As of November 20, 2021:
    • Net General Fund balance (not including project fund): $127,556.14
    • RCO Project Fund balance: $10,752.94
    • Project Fund Expense Balance: ($39,874.80)
  • The Project Fund is now being used to track the RCO Grant Match.
• Payables: None

Old Business Items#

None.

New Business Items#

• Dock Entrance Upgrade: No bids received to date. Trowbridge Construction intends to submit bid prior to December Commissioners Meeting.
• RCO Grant Extension: Verbal approval for grant extension but awaiting official approval from RCO Board.
• RCO Expenses: Auditor Susan Henry to update Port of Indianola Expenses through 11/20/21 on the RCO website.
• 2022 Budget:
  • Resolution 2021-01 – Allowed 2022 Regular Tax Levy plus allowed 1% increase. Motion by Walker to accept, seconded by Cookson, unanimous approval.
  • Resolution 2021-02 – Port of Indianola Budget Approval. Motion to accept by Walker, seconded by Cookson, unanimous approval.
• Port District Redistricting: Per Sammamish Data Systems, re-districting for districts with no election in 2022 is required to complete NLT 11/15/2022 per Washington State Senate Bill SSB 5013.
• Next Commissioners Meeting: December 21, 2021 at 7:00 PM
