Meeting Minutes of the Indianola Port District Board of Port Commissioners Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM Indianola Clubhouse, 18976 Indianola Road NE, Indianola, WA 98342

Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None.

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by Citizen Request.

• Meeting Minutes of the September 18, 2018 regular meeting – Commissioner Henderson moved to accept the minutes as submitted. Second by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
• Accounting Summary Report by Port Auditor Susan Henry.

Accounting Summary: Auditor Henry provided statements for September 2018. As of September 30, 2018, Net General Fund balance after warrants paid, not including project fund, is $95,336.95. Project Fund Balance is $4,178.18.

Payables Submitted for Approval: Total payables for October: $170.00, including:

• Voucher #2055 for $170.00 to US Bank for General Obligation Bond Administrative Fee

Commissioner Henderson moved to approve payment of voucher #2055 as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.

Old Business Items#

New Business Items#

• Maintenance and Repair Permit Renewal: No change reported.
• Dock Entrance Upgrade: Road end survey needed.
• 2019 Port Preliminary Budget: Commissioners Henderson and Cookson reviewed the preliminary budget.

Budget Notes:

• Estimated total new levy income: $62,366.00
• Budget includes RCO grant matching funds
• The 2019 preliminary budget will be published in the Herald and finalized at the November POI meeting.

Next Meeting#

The next Port Commission Meeting will be held on November 20, 2018.
