Meeting Minutes of the Indianola Port District Board of Port Commissioners Tuesday, August 11, 2015 – 7:00 PM Indianola Clubhouse, 20446 Indianola Road NE, Indianola, WA 98342

Call to Order#

Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:09 PM.

Commissioner Comments#

Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. None

Consent Agenda Items#

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered routine, and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. Items may be removed for separate discussion by a Commission member or by citizen request.

• Meeting Minutes:
  • July 21, 2015 regular meeting – Commissioner Henderson moved to accept the minutes as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
• Accounting Summary Report:
  • Net General Fund balance after warrants: $14,810.86 (includes first payment to Quigg Bros. for Phase II, to be paid when bond funding is confirmed). Project Fund Balance: $2,217.78.
• Payables: Warrants totaling $71,934.18, including Quigg Bros payment for Phase II ($71,742.00), Puget Sound Energy, and Smyth Lumber. Approved unanimously.

Phase II Permits#

• Permit from the Corps expected within 2 weeks, in time for project start.

Stair Treads / Rail Caps#

• Commissioner Lane investigating fasteners for railings.
• Stair treads will be the next priority, followed by railings.

Tuesday, September 15, 2015 – Indianola Clubhouse, 7:00 PM

• Commissioner Cookson will follow up with Connie Reckord on plans and sketches for possible head-of-dock designs for community review and approval.

Commissioner Henderson moved to adjourn at 7:41 PM. Seconded by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
