MEETING MINUTES OF THE INDIANOLA PORT DISTRICT BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS, TUESDAY,

FEBRUARY 21, 2023 AT 6:30 PM, INDIANOLA COUNTRY STORE, INDIANOLA, WA 98342


Commissioners in attendance: Jeff Henderson, Gary Walker, Eric Cookson

CALL TO ORDER Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 6:33 PM


COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. NONE


CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by Citizen Request.

  1. Meeting Minutes of the January 17, 2022 regular meeting – Error found regarding General Fund balance, Commissioner Henderson to correct and submit revised minutes at March 21, 2023 meeting.

  2. Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry as of February 21, 2023. Net General Fund balance $105,944.89.

  3. Payables: Voucher 2142 payable to Commissioner Walker to reimburse for Paton Light repair in the amount of $269.12. Voucher 2143 payable to Puget Sound Energy in the amount of $60.00. Commissioner Henderson moved to accept to Voucher as submitted, seconded by Commissioner Walker, passed unanimously.


  1. OLD BUSINESS ITEMS - NONE


NEW BUSINESS ITEMS


  1. No bench report. Commissioner Cookson to contact Spencer Wet and Ty Purser to hopefully attend our March 21, 2023 meeting to provide an update on progress.

  2. Sign Committee – no report. Commissioiner Walker to contact member regarding progress.

  3. Commissioner Henderson to work with Cory Gregerson to utilize MS Outlook for Port email.

  4. Power upgrade with new meter and panel ongoing. Commissioners, Walker, Henderson and Bob Kinnaird.

  5. Next Commissioners Meeting: March 21, 2023 7:00 PM.

ADJOURNMENT – Commissioner Henderson moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 PM. Seconded by Commissioner Walker, passed unanimously.
