MEETING MINUTES OF THE INDIANOLA PORT DISTRICT BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS, TUESDAY,

September 20, 2022 AT 7:00 PM, INDIANOLA CLUBHOUSE 18976 INDIANOLA ROAD NE, INDIANOLA, WA 98342


Commissioners in attendance: Jeff Henderson, Gary Walker, Eric Cookson

CALL TO ORDER Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM


COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. NONE


CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by Citizen Request.

  1. Meeting Minutes of the August 16, 2022 regular meeting – Commissioner Walker moved to accept the minutes as submitted, second by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.

  2. Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry as of September 20, 2022. Net General Fund balance $105,536.46.

  3. Payables: None


  1. OLD BUSINESS ITEMS - NONE


NEW BUSINESS ITEMS


  1. Discussion regarding updating of Port history sign. Awaiting input from Sign Committee regarding collaboration with Suquamish Tribe. Commissioner Walker to contact committee menbers.

  2. Commissioner Walker has received a bid for concrete work from Knightsbridge Construct in the amount of $6,239.14. Motion to accept bid by Commissioner Henderson, seconded by Commissioner Walker, approved unanimously.

  3. Discussion regarding bench, Commissioner Cookson to contact Spencer West for update.

  4. Commissioner Walker received a bid for 2x6 planks (909 board feet)for necessary decking replacement in the amount of $1,614.38. Motion to accept bid by Commissioner Henderson, seconded seconded by Commissioner Walker, approved unanimously.

  5. Commissioner Henderson to work with Cory Gregerson to upgrade Port email.

  6. Power upgrade with new meter and panel ongoing. Commissioners, Walker, Henderson and Bob Kinnaird.

  7. Next Commissioners Meeting: October 18, 2022 7:00 PM.

ADJOURNMENT – Commissioner Walker moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:21 PM. Seconded by Commissioner Cookson, passed unanimously.
