MEETING MINUTES OF THE INDIANOLA PORT DISTRICT BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS, TUESDAY,
MAY 18, 2021 AT 7:00 PM, INDIANOLA PAVILION 18976 INDIANOLA ROAD NE, INDIANOLA, WA 98342

CALL TO ORDER Commissioner Henderson called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: Commissioner Comments is the time for Board members to present verbal reports and suggest future agenda items. NONE
CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Commission for reading and study, are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Commission with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by a Commission member or by Citizen Request.
Meeting Minutes of the April 20, 2021 regular meeting – Commissioner Cookson moved to accept the minutes as submitted, second by Commissioner Walker, passed unanimously.
Accounting Summary Report submitted by Port Auditor Susan Henry. Auditor Henry provided statement for May 18,2021. POI continues to see property tax income. As of May 18, 2021, Net General Fund balance, not including project fund, is $129,462.21. RCO Project fund balance is $10,752.94. Project Fund Expense Balance is ($32,268.56). As agreed in earlier meetings, the Project Fund is now being used to track the RCO Grant Match.
Voucher # 2113 in the amount of $60.00 to PSE for Port electric services submitted. Commissioner Walker moved to accept the voucher as submitted, seconded Commissioner Henderson. Unanimous approval.
OLD BUSINESS ITEMS - NONE
NEW BUSINESS ITEMS
Dock entrance upgrade –Anticipate Fall 2021 construction time. Bid package will need to be prepared and interested contractors will need to submit 2021 Small Works .Roster application.
Commissioner Walker has purchased replacement solar cells and batteries for the dock navigation lights and will install.
Upcoming Commissioner District 2 election discussed.
Port Secretary – Suggestions??
Next Port Commission Meeting will be held on July 20, 2021
